Dance hero Deadmau5 has been confirmed fto take over the O2 Academy Brixton with a special live performance next year on April, 30.

The Canadian superproducer has dominated the scene since breaking through in 2008, winning audiences over with his unique style and this year saw his mau5head being copied by eager fans at Creamfields

Performing live, his sets consist mainly of his own material, assembling tracks on the fly, using cutting edge computer technology, including software he’s helped develop himself.

As an artiste that continues to strive to push the boundaries, this Brixton debut live performance is set to raise the benchmark for live dance events once again just ahead of his album release in May 2010.

The event will feature exclusive cutting edge production, video and lighting systems creating an unforgettable show. It will also include, seen for the first time in the UK the highly anticipated new L.E.D mau5head!

Commenting on his forthcoming event the mau5 said: “Im looking forward to my UK return, let’s have it.”
