Pop princess Eliza Doolittle has shrugged off her chart battle with Eminem calling him a “Caricature”.

The curly haired singer directed the jibe at the superstar rapper as they prepare to lock horns for the top spot.

Miss Doolittle’s self-titled album shot into the charts at No 3 and she is not bothered by her Detroit rival who is currently outselling her in the chart race.

She said: “I like Eminem’s old stuff better than his new tracks- he’s become a bit of a caricature of himself I think.”

“I would love to hear more from him but it’s always been about his identity and I would like to hear him talk about something else to be honest.”

The 22-year-old played downstairs in Purple Revolver HQ Studio 2 over SoundCity, belting out songs like Mr Medicine, Skinny Genes and new single Pack Up.
