Rock legends Kiss have declared they want the lady with the painted face aka Lady Gaga to become an honorary fifth member of the band.
The Detroit Rock City icons are delighted that the Telephone pop superstar said their flamboyant style and face paint are the inspiration behind her make-up.
Kiss believe Lady Gaga’s success is built on her connection with fans.
Gene Simmons, 60, “She’s not Lady Gaga, she’s really Lady Kiss.
“I love the vibe, the big mouth and the big visuals. She’s the most exciting thing to happen since us. She’s a female version of us, she could be in the band.
“One of the first things we learned was to treat the audience as the guv’nor.
“When they buy a ticket they become your boss. We just work here.
“She realises that her fans deserve the best you got because they pay your wages.”
Kiss are in the middle of their first UK arena tour in over a decade in support of their return-to-form record Sonic Boom.
Kiss play Liverpool Arena tonight and dates across the UK until May 13.
