Babyshambles urged spectators at Scottish bash T In The Park to ‘beat the fuck’ out of bottle-throwers.

Doherty and Co were met by a barrage of missiles as they played an afternoon show at the festival during which guitarist Mik Whitnall asked fans to do him a favour and pummel the annoying bottle-throwers in the crowd.

The band played on the NME/Radio 1 Stage, reeling through a number of hits including Delivery, Pipedown and show stopper Fuck Forever.

Some crowd members started throwing bottles at the band during the show, prompting Whitnall to say, “Next person who throws a bottle, beat the fuck out of them, I dare you!”

Before closing the set with single Fuck Forever the lads played new song Fireman and What Katy Did, a song released by Doherty’s ‘other’ band The Libertines, who make their return this summer at Reading and Leeds Festival.
