Crowd invasions are part and parcel of a “kick-ass” rock show according to former Guns-and-Roses guitarist Slash after he was pushed over by an interloping fan in Italy.

This is after the media furore which was caused when Noel Gallagher was violently thrown from the stage by a crazed fan at the Canadian V festival in Toronto in 2008, breaking some ribs in the process.

Slash emerged uninjured from the incident which happened during the Sweet Child O’ Mine solo on June the 10th at a concert in Milan.

Apparently the chain smoking rock legend knew there were going to be fireworks at the show relaying to his fans on Facebook just before he took to the stage that this was “one rowdy crowd.”

But Slash, unlike Noel, took the knock in his stride and managed to finish the song and show, dismissing the incident saying, “The guy who nailed me didn’t take me down but he busted my poor guitar. Ah well, it was a kick ass rock show.”
