The Joy Formidable to support Sir Paul McCartney in Wales showcase

The Joy Formidable are to support living legend Sir Paul McCartney at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff.

The day before opening The Other Stage at Glastonbury the Welsh rockers will play the supporting slot on June, 26, in their native land with the celebrated former Beatle. Also appearing on the bill will be Manic Street Preachers.

This summer TJM have a busy calender and will also be making appearances at Reading/Leeds festivals before heading down to Australia to support Passion Pit and Temper Trap, as well as playing at the Splendour In The Grass festival.

Having released their latest single Popinjay earlier this year, the band will be releasing their debut album at the end of 2010.
