Justin Timberlake has revealed he wants to start a new craze of post cards and homing pigeons to mix up the way people communicate with friends.

The Senorita crooner said: “We had an idea that we were going to start a trend, to make it cool again to send postcards, write letters, homing pigeons, messages in a bottle- it has not taken off yet, but we are working on it.”

Timberlake plays Sean Parker in The Social Network, a film about the conception of Facebook. Ironically he met Parker before he was cast in in the part. He said: “I just ran into him in New York and he was a really nice guy, but we just said hi to each other in passing.”

Timberlake is enjoying his acting stint away from his musical endeavours and he just wants to keep developing as an actor and getting bigger roles.

He said: “Acting is something I’ve always dreamed of being involved with. I see smaller films I’ve done where I could have a little more meat on the bone as far as performance and character, and to get this opportunity I was humbled by the whole situation. I just want to keep growing as an artist.”

Mark Zuckerburg, the man behind the social networking giant, has recently been named the 35th richest man in the world with a net worth of $6.9 billion. But the Harvard uber-geek was unenthused about the new film saying: “I just wished that nobody made a movie of me while I am still alive.”

Writer of The West Wing Aaron Sorkin has been drafted in on screenwriting duty, to add that pointed, barbed dialogue he is famed for.
