The Green Hornet trailer has appeared on YouTube this week teasing fans.
The superhero caper stars a slimmed down Seth Rogen and Cameron Diaz. The plot centres around Rogen’s character Britt Reid aka The Green Hornet, a partying philandering son of a media mogul who decides to turn his life around after his mega rich Father is murdered.
After inheriting a vast business empire and mountains of cash he decides to become a superhero with his trusty sidekick in tow, former butler and martial arts expert Kato who is played by Jay Chou.
It is a wisecracking take on the role which originated on radio in the 1930s and was later adapted for a television series with Bruce Lee and a successful comic book series.
Co-written by Rogen and Evan Goldberg, who also wrote Superbad and Pineapple Express, the film is set to be a sure fire hit with movie goers and comic book fans.
The film comes to the big screen on January 14, 2011. Check out the trailer here:
