Here it is! Another worthy addition to lob onto your saturday night party playlist. (Listen to it loud and under the influence of alcohol.)
Dutch D&B group Noisia lie somewhere between aggro-tech wizards Combichrist, and the flavoursome and frantic dancefloor favourites Pendulum.
What seperates Noisia’s new single ‘Machine Gun’ from the crop of substanceless D&B tracks lies in the ear-drum splitting production (it’s almost perfection), and constant deviation in speed, beat and snyth work. It’s less predictable. Sure, you mightn’t be flailing around in time for the entirety when the DJ whips this bad boy on, but the titanic drop will have you raving like a lunatic — glowsticks a go go.
The new single comes with not 1, not 2, not 3 but 5 edits & remixes. I don’t know about you, but if you can listen to ’em all back to back without being completely deafened and almsot soul destroyed at the end, you deserve a high five or a medal or something.
When this beast hits DJ sets globally, there’s going to be chaos. Not only that, but a full L.P is promised to us eager electro heads in April…we can’t fuckin wait!
Machine Gun is unleashed on March 8th
with full L.P ‘Split the Atom’ released April 5th.
