Hot Club de Paris and That Fucking Tank will be recording a split live record instore for Never Records.
Never Records is a multi media, multi-artist installation constructed to resemble a functioning record store, including record bins, poster racks, large reproductions offictitious album covers, and a stage for in store appearances, Never Records Includes over 40 artists, record labels, and musicians. It is part Max Ernst part Hi Fidelity.
It’s creator is Ted Rieder, an artist and musician from New York and it currently resides at Binary Cell on Seel Street in Liverpool. Ted will be recording both bands and there will be 5 records produced from the show. One of these will be cut direct to vinyl live with the rest will be cut after by Ted on the lathe.
Everything in the store, including the stickers on the cash register is art. Many things are for sale and many things cannot be bought or sold.
