Tennessee born singer-songwriter Lauren Pritchard is set to release her new single Not The Drinking on October 25th through Spilt Milk/ Island Records.
The single is taken from the 22 year old’s debut album Wasted In Jackson which is also released October 25th, and the accompanying must-see video was directed by acclaimed director Wendy Morgan who recently made the Janelle Monae video.
Island Records is proud to announce the launch of a new live initiative; Island Life. Life will provide a platform for the new breed of Island acts. Kicking off the showcases will be a night in East London and a UK-wide tour.
The inaugural Island Life UK tour brings together three extraordinary talents, namely Lauren Pritchard, Welsh crooner Pete Lawrie and Zimbabwe born Tinashé who will be going out on tour with Eliza Doolittle and Mark Ronson after this stint. Island’s 22-year-old Celtic songbird Pearl & The Puppets completes the line-up.
