Queens of the Stone Age plan to celebrate the 10th anniversary of their mighty album Rated R with a special performance at Reading and Leeds festival later this month.

Josh Homme is reportedly set to play every song from the album in a mammoth set which will include tracks such as The Lost Art of Keeping a Secret, Leg of Lamb and Feel Goof Hit of the Summer.

A source close to Homme said: “There’s also talk of special guests – Mark Lanegan, who sang on the original album, and Dave Grohl on drums.”

In the meantime Queens have been working hard in the studio, recording and coming up with ideas as to the direction of the new album.

“I have ideas already absolutely,” Homme said, “It’s all about wiggling hips. The music is gonna go further down that strange and lovely path of ‘Era Vulgaris’.”
