The Wartime Blues are set to release their new single this week, Robert Ford and Jesse James.
Wartime Blues are an eight-piece folk rock outfit, who hail from the western mountain town of Missoula, Montana. The band will be heading out on the road on the great gold run touring the Midwest through August.
Often compared to Bruce Springsteen and the Hold Steady, Wartime Blues have developed a unique sound which has garnered acclaim throughout the Rocky Mountain West since 2007.
The band members have shared the stage with such illustrious acts as Bill Callahan, Blind Pilot, Point Juncture, WA, Graves, and Jerry Joseph among others. The band will release their debut album Doves and Drums, in 2010.
