Badly Drawn Boy, aka Damon Gough, has announced details of a UK tour in October, his first in three years.

The dates coincide with a new Badly Drawn Boy single and album which are scheduled for release in September and October respectively.

Penning the soundtrack to last year’s Caroline Aherne film The Fattest Man in Britain sparked a period of unprecedented creativity for Gough, resulting in a wealth of new songs.

Gough decided the best way to capture this surge, and give the songs the exposure they deserved was to release a trilogy of albums. The trilogy is called ‘It’s What I’m Thinking’ and ‘Part 1 – Photographing Snowflakes’ is released October 4th.

See Badly Drawn Boy live in October:

16th Scarborough, Spa Theatre
17th Holmfirth, Picturedrome
18th Birmingham Town Hall
20th Glasgow, Old Fruit Market
21st Manchester, Royal Northern College Of Music
25th Bristol, St Georges
27th London, Bloomsbury Theatre
