Perhaps one of the most unexpected band names to find it’s way into the world outside the 90’s, Fun, yes that’s what I said, Fun are set to cross the pond with a string of club dates in London towards the end of the month.

Hailing from New York the three-piece pop ensemble are set to release their debut single as a double a-side on March 29th.

The release will come as a limited edition 7″ vinyl through Friends Vs Records and will feature the tracks Walking The Dog and Be Calm.

The tracks are taken from the forthcoming Aim & Ignite album; set for release on May 31st through Hassle Records.

Fun debuts the collective talent of Nate Ruess (The Format), multi-instrumentalist Andrew Dost and Jack Antonoff; seeing Andrew working with the likes of Roger Joseph Maning Jnr (Air, Beck, Jellyfish) on the arrangement for Be Calm.

Described as melding finely wrought chamber-pop orchestrations with guitar fuelled rock ‘n’ roll, the result is a very distinctive sound.
