With a career spanning more than 20 years, Siobhan Fahey returns to the stage as Shakespears Sister with a series of live dates in April, promoting the release of her fourth studio album, “Songs From The Red Roomâ€, featuring collaborations with Terry Hall and Whitey.
Famed for her music, film and DJ career, Siobhan Fahey became a household name in the 80’s with multiple Top 10 hits as one third of Bananarama.
Sister’s #1 hit single, “Stay” sat on the top of the charts for eight weeks. It was also a six-week number one in Ireland, and became their biggest US hit, reaching number four on the Billboard Hot 100. Who could forget their campy, futuristic music video, spoofed by French and Saunders and beloved by many grungy teens.
