Wakestock has only just finished and the post festival blues have set in with a vengeance.
Festival goers on the Abersoch site were spoiled with a line-up overflowing with star names such as N-Dubz, Maximo Park, Feeder, Chase & Status, The Ting Tings, The Futureheads, Calvin Harris and many more.
Bringing the world’s best wake-boarders together to the beautiful sandy beaches of North Wales, competing on the famous swells around the coast there, Wakestock doubles up as a beach holiday.
This year Purple Revolver’s junior roving reporter Danni caught up with chart toppers N-Dubz in the picture postcard setting.
Danielle: How are you guys today?
Dappy: Yes my sister from another mother, the best. How are you?
Danielle: I’m good thanks, so do you have any surprises for us tonight?
Fazer: Yeah Yeah, it’s going to be big. I might have to do a JLS back flip or something I dunno. Big up the guys.
Danielle: What’s the craziest thing any of you have ever done?
Tulisa: It’s probably like, not legal so we can’t say.
Dappy: Yeah let’s be honest, it’s not legal.
Fazor: Put a condom on someone while they were passed out. That must have been when I was a bit younger, but yeah yeah long time ago.
Danielle: What’s your worst habit?
Dappy: Worst habit? Urm biting my nails here let me see your nails I might bite yours.
Danielle: Has anyone ever compared you to an animal or if you could be any animal what would you be?
Tulisa: People call me a cat because of my eyes or a mouse because of the way I eat.
Dappy: Or a beautiful pig. I’m a rat Tulisa’s a beautiful pig, Dappy has ratitude and Fazor…
Fazor: I’m not an animal.
Tulisa: A weasel.
Dappy: Fazor’s a weasel.
Danielle: So you guys are cousins (Dappy and Tulisa) do you get on?
Dappy: Nah bum her she’s a bitch.
Tulisa: (laughs) he’s a knob head.
Danielle: What are your plans for the summer then? Anything exciting?
Dappy: Plans for the summer? Like we said yesterday we came back from the studio, we have been finishing 6.30 in the morning getting our new single right, which will be on our TV show Being N-Dubz.
Other than that, we are just trying to get more number 1’s and sell more albums. We want to go to America, and show the world that there’s not just good bands like Black Eyed Peas, that’s what we want to go to America for.
Fazer: We are going to take over the world!
